Registration Procedure

  • Step 1: The initial step involves searching for the right logo, symbol, name, etc that can become your trademark. A trademark agent/attorney will help you out with the search and will also coordinate with the Trademark Office in case of the availability. You can either opt offline or online process.

  • Step 2: Making an application of your name or logo which is drafted by the attorney.

  • Step 3: The trademark office analyses your application and after their approval, an advertisement is published in the Trade Marks Journal. It takes around 6 months to register your trademark.
